Dont want Bad Picture ?
Finally I come back home after a two-day weekend in my hometown. It was quite a long time not to visit my parents since they visited me in my school dorm three months ago. It is about 2 years I did not go hometown due to some extra activities and programs at college. Seeing the progress of my hometown to be a better place makes me happy that my parents have more things to do for their free time at a new town square.
I happened to take film about me and my father and mother in the town square using my old video camera my father gave me on my birthday last year. Unluckily I did not bring my laptop so I just could keep the film inside the camera. And now in my dorm room, I rush to get the film transfer to my laptop. It takes only minutes because the memory capacity in the camera is just enough for a 25-minute shoot.
On the film, I see that both of my parents were so happy; unfortunately, the picture is not as nice. I understand that it is because my video camera is not as good as before. I wonder whether I will send my parents the film with this bad picture. My parents would just simply accept it happily but I don’t think this terrible film could be enjoyable to see. I need to convert the terrible-picture film to be better. I remember that last month I installed software of video converter. It has good menus to convert many kinds of films or videos to some better choices of new formats. I will give it a try now, and will save it in a DVD CD.
I am lucky any films produced from my video camera are not an 88mm films; the conversion surely depends on this footage. To get an 8mm film to DVD is not an easy job; the process could take more than an hour. There is a possibility of getting stuck while doing conversion of the 8mm to DVD if it is done in my laptop because my laptop has not been upgraded for months; too many programs and files that make processor running slower than before. Yet the result of my simple filming in the town square appears to be better, better in lighting and contrasting. I hope my parents will be glad to see the film when I go hometown again this coming summer holiday.
