A Web Host for My Products
Since a month ago, I have been planning to make a website for my new products. I understand that, in this global advance technology, if I still just promote my products through banner or catalog, and with applying a three-time-a-week broadcast by a local radio, I am sure that my page content as well as my company would be left behind. Ever since this advance technology of internet world came to my town, most people are hooked on sitting before online computers for a lot of reasons. I myself have installed internet connection since last year but still find no big function of it. Well, I am just like an old-fashioned person in this sophisticated era.
I am really poor at internet world, moreover at website. I am just interested in searching and browsing any kinds of sites and images that support the sites to look attractive. Then, a good friend of mine when we were still in college who is now expert in this kind of section promised me to help. Everything he does is just for the sake of our friendship so he does not require much budget for it. In building a website for me, what he needs me to do is to provide him with all detail data of what I wish to expose in my web. He also offers me some designs for my web to appear later, some so-called animation or something alike that I don’t know for sure. He does all things in my place, exclusively in my office because I trust him a lot.
After several days, I could see the result of his work and I am amazed; I am really sure my webpage will attract many people. But my friend says that this webpage is still not exposed; well, I don’t understand about it. To get in the internet world, he says, the name of my company should be published as a domain and he needs to put all data in a place called web host. A lot of sites offer their places as hosts with various charges, agreements and policies. Apparently, some web hosts with reasonable price will serve customers with limited storages with a little difficult loading performance; meanwhile for some others with higher cost provide more or even unlimited storages with some special features and service such as webmails. Well, I am actually still unfamiliar with this, but I am sure what my friend thinks it is good for me, it must surely be.
