More Lockers in Need
Right, we need more lockers for this new school year round. Learning from the registered new students, there is an increment for 12% more of students’ seats and there will of course be more lockers to provide. And in addition, some of school lockers are already damage in some parts. It is best to sell them out and get new ones. Some irresponsible students seem to have broken the rules but they don’t tell the truth. It is hard to get any compensation from them or their parents.
We have also added two more school security supervisors. Their duty is to maintain the security both the study programs and the school inventories. They also have a right to check any students’ lockers if there are some suspicious things inside.
Last years we found some jewelry inside one of the gym lockers. Having or taking that kind of jewelry to the school is not permitted as the school policy, and the jewelry was not proper to any students in this school to have or wear it. Recognizing who was in charge of using the locker, the principal called the student as well as her parents and reminded them not to do it again. Since then, all gym locker keys have been returned to sport teachers dependent on the grade of the students.
But this time, we don’t think that accident will happen again. And we then prefer to have some wood lockers since the metal ones are sometime causing some noise. Most teachers in the office would like to get their metal lockers replaced. They prefer it because there are some nice designs of performance from wood lockers.
Now, it seems that there will be more lockers in need and also more lockers for sale. We will let students’ community to manage a day of yard sale before summer holiday comes, and the lockers will be there, too.
