Disability Insurance
I am just a common person that sees the reality of life and understand that day by day more and more people are getting older along with this old earth. I am saying this especially concerning to my father. He is lying down on the hospital bed because of his ole-age illness.
It is just our fortune that Dad is already a member of insurance company so that the hospital charge is all under the company responsibility. He is registered as a client of short term disability insurance and still an active client until he got hospitalized as now. The charge will remain until my Dad gets recovered from his disability problem. This is what relieves us since we learn that we could never cooperate well with the cost of hospital.
His being disabled has made my Mom have to work part time and my older brother must stop his college. But it seems that things are supposed to be like this. While my Dad is trying to get better health condition, we all work hard, probably harder, to make living at home.
Today, we finally could take a relief breath; Doctor said that my Dad’s condition is getting better, and soon he could be home. But it is recommended that my Dad not work in his recent factory again as a daily porter; if possible, he stays home for some times and when he is ready to work, desk job or clerk position would be appropriate for him. Alright, things are now a little bit different; but we are sure that we could make the difference to be just a variation. We must keep on enjoying our life.
