Laptops are an excellent choice for persons with limited space. They are great for college students living in dorm rooms as well as anyone in a home where there is not room for a computer workstation to be set up. The computer can be set up and taken down in only a few minutes. The only cord requiring attachment is the power cord. When done for the day, the computer can be closed and stored for the day.

A laptop will cost more than a tower type home computer with the same performance. Additionally, it is easier for someone to steal your laptop. Because of the small space, it is easy heat to build up in the laptop and this limits upgrades. You will also find that repairs are more expensive.

Netbook computers are small notebooks. They have a small keyboard and may have a small CPU. They do not have a CD or DVD drive.
