Guidance to Teaching English

Guidance to Teaching English photoJoining TEFL class is really fun! For me personally, I have always wanted to practice my English anytime, but not many people in Costa Rica like to speak English, and this is burdening me a lot. I am just lucky that TEFL Costa Rica class has entertained me well with a lot of English practices and discussions where I could express myself in English. Exercises both written and spoken really help me increase my courage in speaking English before people, as well as the target of this training which is to get us all to be able to teach English orally. Since my graduation from college, I have been teaching English in several independent schools and private courses. It is fun for me because I get to see many different people and I personally like to teach English.

As my plan to go back hometown to Milan, Italy, I have proposed to get temporary jobs as long as I stay there. Some application has already been couriered to my relatives in Milan just to save the time. They also have promised me to be able to teach English in Italy. I only need my relatives there to support me with some guidance to teaching there – especially English. I am just a little bit hesitated to find out what the Italian students and how teacher-learning process there would be like. Different countries of course have different cultures, and they really impact on lifestyles and association in those countries. And this is what I am really in need of perfect preparation.

Yet everything definitely depends on the test result of my TEFL test I will face within this week. I am not actually trembled, in fact I am sure that I am already well prepared; however, who is not shaken facing a kind of test? The certificate will surely give me better points on my English teaching experience; apparently, this certificate would be the first thing to consider before referring to other things on my job application. And, as a matter of fact, the certificate gained after I pass TEFL test could be best reference when I try to get jobs overseas besides an English teacher. There are companies require their employees as well as new job applicants to have TEFL certificate. And I am glad that I will get one before getting a job overseas, back to my home town.
